About
John Eldredge
I am honored to be able to provide clinical services to those suffering from Substance Use Disorders. I have been working to help those in their journey of recovery for the past nine years and have witnessed many individuals become empowered and take back control of their lives after becoming hindered by their addiction.
My ideal in practice is to form a strong, collaborative, therapeutic alliance with my clients. My style is empathetic, compassionate, and direct. I believe that by exploring thoughts, emotions, and maladaptive behavior patterns, we can become more insightful and understanding of ourselves. Through this vulnerable process we are able to create life-long change that will increase self esteem and the ability to form close interpersonal relationships with those we care about.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Springfield College in 2009 with a B.S. in Human Services, with a focus on addiction counseling. Immediately following I enrolled in the Social Work program at UNH and graduated with honors and received my Masters degree in Social Work. I was honored by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) in receiving Social Work student of the year. I am licensed in the state of NH as both an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) and MLADC (Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
